Do I have to be a member to use the gym or participate in classes?

No you don’t have to be a member to use the gym or participate in a class. You can pay a casual rate.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes there is an option to cancel your membership, term and conditions  apply.

Can someone mind my kids while I exercise?

Your membership at Brighton and Paragon Fitness includes access to our crèche service for kids from 6 weeks up to 7 years for a gold coin donation.  Open every morning except Sundays, you can come in, drop the kids off and enjoy your workout.

Our 9:30am classes are timed to coincide with the school drop off, so you can always make it a class after the kids are at school.

How much does it cost to use the crèche facilities?

The crèche service is provided as part of your membership at Brighton Fitness and Paragon Fitness. A gold coin donation is appreciated when you use the service. We use that to help keep our toys and play equipment in great condition, so your kids enjoy their time at the gym as much as you.

Do I have to book in to participate in a class?

Bookings are not required except for the occasional one-off special class; however it’s best to arrive 5 minutes before the class starts to collect your ticket and avoid disappointment.

Do I have to be fit to be a member of the gym?

Paragon Fitness caters to all fitness levels ranging from experienced gym goers to beginners. Our experienced staff will ensure you never feel awkward or uncomfortable, no matter what your level of fitness.

Are there any age restrictions to use the gym or participate in a class?

The minimum age is 14 years for access to cardio based equipment and cardio based classes only. At 16 years full gym access applies.

If I join Paragon Fitness do I get access to Brighton Fitness as well? or vice versa?

All members at Paragon Fitness get access to Brighton as part of their membership. Members at Brighton Fitness can upgrade their membership if you want access to paragon as well.

Does Brighton and Paragon Fitness offer Personal Training?

Absolutely! Both our centres have a range of fully qualified personal trainers available to help you achieve your goals. We also offer a Free initial personal Training session, so be sure to check it out.

I’ve never been a member of a fitness centre before, can someone show me how to use the equipment?

When you get started with Paragon Fitness , we offer you a gym induction with one of our gym instructors to help you get off to a great start.

I’m thinking about doing yoga, do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Yes, please bring your own yoga mat.

I’m a member and my friend is interested in joining, can I bring a friend in for a free trial?

Yes, as a member you are welcome to bring in a guest for a FREE first visit.

What happens if I plan a holiday or unable to use my membership for a long period?

Talk to one of our friendly consultants as some of our membership options offer FREE suspension periods.

Do i have to pay extra for some classes?

All classes are included with the exception of the new Les Mills Grit series

Do I have to lock into a long term contract?
